Dear Parents, Students and well wishers i take this opportunity to greet you with immense joy, appreciation and gratitude for your love and support. Nagore Modern Matriculation School has been at your service for over 25 years. The entire atmosphere of this school is permeated by this spirit, which promotes love, peace, collaboration and co-operation leading to a human family of trust, harmony and co-existence. This guiding spirit has helped us to make a deep impact in creating GOODWILL among all sections the society.
Our school, Nagore Modern Matriculation Higher Secondary School had begun under the management of Nagore Educational Trust, which was established in the year 1994 by myself and Hajee J. Abdul Hameed Maraicar for the purpose to give high class English Education. From humble beginnings, the school had shifted to purpose-built premises a decade later. And there have been continuous efforts to upgrade our school to keep up with the modern technologies and best practices to help our students to achieve progressive education.
Our excellent results in the Annual Examinations of 10th, 11th and 12th grade examination speak for itself. While this is largely due to the efforts of the students and encouragement of their parents.
I am glad to say that in the last academic year Selvi. H. Hameed Nachiar from XII-std has scored 572 in the Matriculation Exams and has been placed at 1st position in Nagapattinam Educational District.
This would not have been possible without the hard work of the student, co-operation of the parents and devotion of the teachers and staff. Nagore Modern Matriculation School empowers the Teachers, Students and Parents to bring out the best qualities lying within the individuals. The kind co-operation and trust of the parents over the years has enabled the management to maintain good standard of discipline, values and carry on the spirit of the Founders.
The Almighty is the real educator and Education is the work of love. It is my privilege to serve the people of Nagapattinam through quality education and humble service. Mother Terasa said “i am a pencil in God’s hand. That is all. He does the thinking he does the writing. The pencil has only to be allowed to be used”. My aim is not only to be an administrator but also to be a friend and a philosopher. I assure my humble service to the students, parents and others. I wish every student to abide by the motto’ Love and Service’ and carry on the spirit of humanity in all the activities they undertake.
Nagore Educational Trust also provides tuition fee concessions / free education for low – income students in our school and pride ourselves in giving timely financial support in the form of scholarships to our qualified students for higher education.
I congratulated the principal, staff and students for taking the initiative and putting in a lot of efforts to the growth of the school. I hope that the school would follow the vision and march ahead with glory in the years to come.
